What the AIVI™ score measures

The Brainpan AIVI™ (AI Visibility Index) scores each brand on organic AI placements only — paid placements are quarantined and disclosed separately, so the number reflects earned visibility, not ad spend. The score is a weighted composite of share of model (35%), recommendation strength (25%), average answer position (20%), citation authority (15%), and top-three rate (5%), normalized so the category leader scores 100. Every insurer is measured the same way across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, and Claude, producing one comparable visibility score per quarter.

What the Q2 2026 benchmark includes

The full report publishes named insurer rankings, a model-by-model coverage map showing where each brand appears (and disappears), citation-share analysis, and the methodology notes needed to reproduce the result. Because the index is rebuilt every quarter on the same basis, brands can track whether they are gaining or losing ground as the engines evolve.

A first look

Ahead of publication, the anonymized preview already tells a story: the top brand scores 86 of 100, and the spread between the leaders and the middle of the pack is dramatic — several recognizable names are effectively invisible on at least one major engine. Named rankings stay sealed until launch to avoid premature publication, but the shape of the leaderboard is clear.
